We're Hiring - Tax Trainee/Graduate

We are looking for a motivated Tax Trainee/Graduate to join our Portlethen office. The ideal candidate for this role will be an enthusiastic and ambitious individual looking to start their career in tax. 

You will work within the Tax Department and be required to do a range of duties including various tax compliance work and assistance with administrative duties. We are looking for candidates that are enthusiastic, good communicators, self-motivated, and are adaptable to change.

Your work would usually include

  • Preparation of self-assessment tax returns for a range of clients
  • Administration duties within the Tax Department
  • Support Tax Department with various ad hoc tasks
  • Dealing with HMRC telephone queries
  • Work with other departments in the firm
  • Ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Complete all administration in a timely manner (including timesheets and fees) and to a high standard
